This pandemic has shifted everything remote including classes. Difficult circumstances like this need adaptation. But it’s important to remember that, while it is uncomfortable to adapt to new learning styles, it’s to learn how to stay focus when learning from home!

Establish an effective study space away from household distractions. This means somewhere away from the bed, television, game console or comfy couch. A study table where you can sit upright is ideal. Ideally, keep the door closed during class hours. That will help block the noise from the rest of the house and prevent distractions that might make you lose focus.
Write a daily to-do list or daily planner and check them off as you go. List all the homeworks and classes that need to be completed/attended. For a better listing, try to list in order of which is most time-consuming when prioritizing where to begin.
Take notes. Writing down notes during online class is a good habit that helps you learn and stay engaged. Taking your own notes will make you memorize easier and allow you to remember your first impressions of the class’s content.
Get enough sleep to help maintain focus and increase your productivity. Try to sleep at least 7-8 hours a day. If you have difficulty falling asleep, try to listen to calm music before you go to bed. A proper night’s sleep is proven to help improve grades, develop better memory, and improve mood.
